She is an aspiring author and a dual SAN ANTONIO – Completing 1,001 marathons across the world -- that is the goal for Parvaneh Moayedi.. A native of Iran, Moayedi came to San Antonio about 30 years ago, but her love for running Parvaneh Moayedi, marathon runner extraordinaire, completed the Badwater 135 ultramarathon for the second time.
